Old World Monkey Social Divisions

fat monkeys
The Old World monkey is the larger species in the primate family. These monkeys are divided up socially in just a couple of ways depending on what species they are. For example, there are some that live in groups that have one dominant male, and the rest of the group is all female. There are other groups that will have more than one male that lives together with the females. In any group of monkeys, the one thing that they do is groom each other. This is what assists them in having a close bond with one another, which is important.
